About
Hi, I'm Anis.

I’m an embedded firmware engineer. I write the code that runs inside devices: the part that reads the sensors, drives the motors and has to keep working in real time, every time.
I’ve built firmware for real-time, sensor-heavy hardware where timing and reliability matter, and for battery-powered Bluetooth LE devices where every microamp counts. I enjoy the whole path, from bringing up a new board to the moment the device does what it was designed to do.
Alongside engineering work, I do research at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Tel Aviv University, on running deep-learning models on embedded hardware for real-time gait detection.
